The Clinical Psychologist will deliver one-to-one remote patient care focused on supporting changes in eating and activity behaviors, while also assessing patients for psychological therapy as part of the weight management service. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and providing specialized advice regarding patient treatment.
Candidates must be a qualified Clinical Psychologist, registered with HCPC or hold a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with a minimum of one year of experience in weight management and/or bariatric settings or working with long-term health conditions complicated by obesity. Essential skills include efficient time management, strong communication, teamwork, and confidence in using technology for patient record keeping.
