About the Role

Join Oviva as a Clinical Psychologist in United States. We're looking for Clinical Psychologist permanent contract with HCPC registered or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology to join our Tier 3 weight management team at Oviva. Welcome all applicants for both part-time (min.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing patients for psychological therapy as part of the weight management service; to independently implement appropriate initial assessment methods.
  • Supporting PWPs with complex cases and providing advice/adhoc training to the team as required.
  • Initial screening involves assessing risk of Binge Eating Disorder which may then be discussed with MDT.
  • Appropriately manage clinical risk (e. g. safeguarding concerns) when it arises during clinical practice.

  • Maintaining confidentiality of information in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and ensuring that participant confidentiality is protected at all times.
  • Creating relevant internal or patient
