About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Must direct and check the daily activities of pharmacy technicians.
  • Must participate in performance improvement activities as requested.
  • Must have appropriate knowledge of U. S. Pharmacopoeia 797 regulations, and follow as interpreted by DOP.

Requirements

  • Must have knowledge and skills pertinent to the functional approach to patient care.
  • Must, when requested, perform the duties of the director in his/her absence.
  • Must interpret medication orders based on patient’s age and clinical status.
  • Must utilize appropriate resources and references for checking appropriateness of medication order, based on patient’s age and clinical status as needed.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
