Job Description
Valley View's Ortho Clinic is looking for an RN Navigator to join our team!
Nurse Navigator needed to support clinic and OR functions, including surgical scheduling, patient education, coordination with clinic schedulers, and procedural assistance.
General Objectives
1. Provides individualized assistance to patients, families, and caregivers to overcome barriers within the healthcare system and facilitate access to all of the resources available to patients.
2. Acts as a link between patients and care providers to facilitate clinical and supportive care services. Functions as a single point of contact among referring physicians, patients, and other clinical caregivers for the purpose of empowering patients in dealing with the disease and the treatment.
3. Facilitates patient appointments for diagnostic procedures in the laboratory, imaging, surgery and other specialty areas.
Qualifications
Education
- Current Colorado RN license or the ability to obtain
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program1 year of nursing (RN) experience
- BSN Required
- BLS per American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
Experience
- Ortho or Surgical RN experience is preferred.

Salary Range
- Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
