Key Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide therapy to maximize patient speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities, while communicating progress to the team and documenting care according to regulatory requirements. This role also involves instructing family or nursing staff in follow-through programs and maintaining a safe work area.

Requirements

Candidates must have a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements, along with a minimum of six months of experience working with adult and geriatric populations. Applicants also need current, unrestricted licensure in the state of service and current CPR certification.
