About the Role
Join UR Thompson Health as a Nurse Practitioner – Pain Medicine, Outpatient in United States. Main Function: * Provides high-quality, evidence-based outpatient pain management care under the supervision of a Pain Medicine physician. * Manages patients with acute, chronic, and complex pain conditions using a multimodal, biopsychosocial approach.
Key Responsibilities
- manage spinal cord stimulator patients.
- develop collaborative relationships with clinical staff, pain specialists, referring providers, and hospital.
Requirements
- Generates accurate, timely (within 2 business days) documentation sufficient for regulatory, clinical, and billing needs. Qualifications:
- Current NYS licensure and registration as a Nurse Practitioner (Family, Adult, or Acute Care)
- National board certification ( AANP/ANCC for NP)
- Active DEA license
