Key Responsibilities

The therapist is responsible for providing assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions to improve patient behavior and physical well-being. They must also document progress, participate in treatment team conferences, and assist with discharge planning.

Requirements

Candidates must hold relevant degrees in Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, or Art Therapy, along with appropriate professional certifications such as CTRS, MT-BC, or ATR eligibility. Experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting is preferred.
