Albemarle Eye Center is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our team in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist to practice in a collaborative, fully integrated eye care environment while serving patients throughout the Outer Banks.

The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care while working closely with ophthalmologists and other eye care professionals. Providers are supported by experienced clinical teams, advanced diagnostic technology, and an established referral network.

Position Highlights

• Join an established, fast-paced optometric practice
• Busy ODs typically see 25–30+ patients per day
• Dedicated team of work-up technicians and diagnostic support
• Vertically Integrated OD/MD Practice Model
• Access to ophthalmology and subspecialty care
• Highly incentivized compensation plan, with mature practices yielding $200,000+ in total compensation with sign on bonus available
• Competitive guaranteed base salary during the initial period
• 4 weeks of vacation, 7 paid holidays
• 5 paid Continuing Education days
• Minimal call responsibilities

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school or college of optometry
• Eligible for or currently holds a North Carolina optometry license
• Interest in medical optometry and collaborative patient care
