Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Manager the respiratory therapist performs Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Care related procedures under the guidelines of the American Association for Respiratory Care.
Education And/or Experience Requirements
- Education and Formal Training: Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Valid/ Unrestricted license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Washington.
- Work Experience: Previous clinical experience in Respiratory Care preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Outstanding clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills required. BLS certification required upon hire. ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire. Ability to access all patient care areas and to successfully complete Respiratory Care competencies required.
- Required ability to use hardware, software and other computer based technical tools.

Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist performs cardiopulmonary and respiratory care procedures under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Manager. All duties are conducted according to the guidelines of the American Association for Respiratory Care.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care and a valid Washington State license. BLS certification is required at hire, with ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within six months.
