Job Description

Position Summary

Radiology Partners Phoenix, located in the East Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area, is currently looking for a Board Eligible or Certified Interventional Radiologist to join its team.

  • Partnership Track
  • 80-85% subspecialty work
  • Full IR Angio suite

Perform Minimally Invasive Procedures Including

  • Arterial interventions (embolization for hemorrhage, peripheral arterial disease, arteriovenous malformation)
  • Venous interventions (DVT treatment, pulmonary embolism thrombectomy, venous malformation sclerotherapy)
  • Liver and biliary interventions (TIPS, BRTO, variceal embolization)
  • Male and female reproductive interventions (prostate artery embolization, uterine artery embolization)
  • Orthopedic interventions (vertebral augmentation, geniculate artery embolization)
  • Oncologic interventions (Y-90 radioembolization, cryoablation, microwave ablation)
  • Comfortable with general radiology and general procedures
  • Desire to be part of a cohesive team

Physicians enjoy a highly competitive compensation package including strong base compensation, significant sign-on bonus, generous productivity bonus, and internal moonlighting opportunities with the potential for substantial additional income beyond the base salary.

Practice Overview

With a long-standing presence of over 50 years in the East Valley, RP Phoenix has developed a strong reputation for clinical excellence. With over 25 fellowship-trained radiologists, the practice is built on a foundation of innovation and collaboration. The physician team is supported by 7 APPs and 29 Radiology Service Coordinators.

Through our partnership with the Banner Hospital System and RP local practice affiliates we provide services to 13 hospitals and 25 outpatient imaging centers. Our practice is locally and democratically led, with decisions vested in the hands of the group at large, rather than in a few founders or a small group of shareholders.

Desired Professional Skills and Experience

  • Licensed or ability to obtain license in the State of Arizona
  • Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • IR fellowship training/Integrated IR residency required

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $600,000 Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Key Responsibilities

The radiologist will perform a wide range of minimally invasive interventional procedures including arterial, venous, and oncologic interventions. They are also expected to maintain proficiency in general radiology and contribute to a cohesive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

Candidates must be board eligible or certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology. An IR fellowship or integrated IR residency is required, along with the ability to obtain a medical license in the State of Arizona.
