Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Key Responsibilities

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct patient care under the supervision of an occupational therapist, assisting with therapeutic interventions and daily documentation. They also communicate patient progress to the interdisciplinary team and instruct families or nursing staff in home exercise programs.

Requirements

Candidates must be licensed and eligible to practice as a COTA in the state of Texas and hold a valid CPR certification. Strong communication, time management, and clinical documentation skills are required, with familiarity in electronic medical records preferred.
