Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations and collaboratively developing treatment plans for clients regarding medication, therapy, or a combination thereof. The role also requires proactively following up with clients monthly to assess intervention efficacy until treatment goals are met, with comfort in providing various modalities of talk therapy.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), an active Alaska Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License, and ANCC Board Certification. A minimum of 2 years of experience in adult mental health is required, along with strong assessment, communication, and documentation abilities, and the necessity to reside in Alaska.
