The Lead Pharmacist will manage the daily operations of the Pharmacy Department, ensuring safe and patient-centered medicines management for oncology and haematology patients. This includes providing expert clinical advice, validating SACT prescriptions, overseeing medicine preparation and dispensing, and leading the pharmacy team.
Candidates must be registered with the GPhC and hold an MPharm or BSc Pharm qualification, along with completed pre-registration training and a postgraduate qualification in Clinical Pharmacy. Strong experience in hospital pharmacy, SACT prescription checking, and proven team leadership abilities are essential.
