About This Role

As a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) at Evara Health, you’ll provide compassionate, comprehensive care to women throughout every stage of life—from adolescence through menopause. You’ll play a key role in supporting patients through pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, family planning, and gynecological health while partnering with a collaborative care team to make a meaningful impact in the community.

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to women through health promotion, illness prevention, and health restoration.
  • Conduct health histories, physical examinations, and medical and/or nursing assessments and diagnoses.
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on appropriate laboratory, radiographic, and diagnostic evaluations and consultations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and coordinating follow-up care.
  • Provide comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum, including attending births at hospitals where privileges are obtained.
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding health promotion, illness prevention, reproductive health, and wellness.
  • Consult, collaborate, and refer patients to other healthcare providers and specialists as appropriate.
  • Participate in provider meetings, peer review activities, and quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Director of CNMs in maintaining and updating clinical protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support quality improvement, patient care, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain current ARNP licensure, ACNM or ACC certification, continuing education requirements, and all necessary hospital privileges.
  • Participate in NHSC conferences and trainings, when applicable for NHSC scholars or loan repayment participants.
  • Serve as a mentor and preceptor to healthcare students and support the development of future healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrate a collaborative, team-oriented approach and support Evara Health’s mission and commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • Float between Evara Health locations or departments as needed to support patient care and organizational needs.

Required Education & Experience

  • Graduation from Accredited ACNM Certification Program
  • Active/Clear Florida APRN-Nurse Midwife License
  • ACNM/ACC Certification or Eligible

Requirements

Candidates must have graduated from an accredited ACNM certification program and hold an active Florida APRN-Nurse Midwife license. ACNM or ACC certification is also required for this role.
