Occupational Therapist (OT)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide quality home health services throughout New Tampa and Tampa, including the 33647, 33629, 33611, 33602, and 33603 areas.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients in their homes.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities and independence with activities of daily living.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, safety, and home exercises.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.

OT Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Active Florida Occupational Therapist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• AHCA Level II background screening.
• Minimum 1 year of home health experience preferred/required.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

We are also seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes throughout New Tampa and Tampa.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with improving functional skills and independence with activities of daily living.
• Implement established treatment plans and therapeutic activities.
• Educate patients and caregivers on appropriate exercises, safety techniques, and strategies for daily activities.
• Observe and report patient progress and changes in condition to the supervising OT.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with the care team to support quality patient outcomes.

COTA Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Florida COTA license/certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• AHCA Level II background screening.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transportation.
