Position Snapshot

Love clinical work but want flexibility in how much you take on? We’re looking for a passionate BCBA to join our Garner Clinic on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role is ideal for clinicians who want to stay sharp and make an impact without a full-time commitment, whether you’re balancing another position, family responsibilities, or simply want more control over your schedule.

As a PRN BCBA, you’ll step in where you’re needed most: covering caseloads, conducting assessments, supporting treatment plan updates, and supervising RBTs. You’ll still drive meaningful outcomes, build hands-on connections with clients and families, and uphold the same high standards of treatment fidelity and documentation as the rest of our clinical team.

Perks & Benefits

How PRN works at Triangle ABA:

Flexible scheduling: You’ll share your availability in advance, and we’ll match you with assignments that fit. Hours vary based on clinic needs and client schedules.

Minimum commitment: We ask for 15 hours or less to maintain continuity of care for clients and support for RBTs.

No guaranteed hours: PRN hours fluctuate with caseload demand and are not guaranteed week to week.

Hourly pay: You’re paid for all time worked, including sessions, supervision, documentation, and caregiver meetings.

Path to more: PRN team members are welcome to apply for part-time or full-time openings as they become available.

Available to All Employees, Including PRN

  • Career Development: Grow into advanced roles with mentorship and continued learning.
  • Clinician-Led Team: Get the support you deserve from professionals who understand your role.
  • Professional Environment: Collaborative, positive, and mission-driven culture.
  • 401(k) retirement plan — [confirm eligibility rules for PRN/part-time staff]
  • Employee Discount Program (BenefitHub) — discounts/cash back on travel, auto, electronics, entertainment, and more
  • Clever RX Prescription Discount Program — up to 80% off prescriptions at 80,000+ pharmacies

PRN positions are not eligible for medical, dental, vision, HSA, paid holidays, PTO, or paid sick leave, which are reserved for full-time employees working 30+ hours per week.

What You'll Do

Clinical Service Delivery & Supervision – Conduct assessments (VB-MAPP, Vineland), develop and oversee treatment plans, and supervise RBTs, students, and assistants to ensure BACB- and Triangle ABA-compliant, high-fidelity ABA programming.

Family Engagement – Deliver in-person caregiver coaching that builds treatment buy-in and supports generalization of skills across home and community settings.

Documentation & Compliance – Manage Plans of Care and treatment updates, submitting all documentation at least 14 days before renewal deadlines and ensuring accuracy per funder requirements.

Outcomes & Innovation – Review client data and progress regularly, adjust treatment plans as needed, and collaborate with the Clinical Development team to improve service models and workflows.

What We're Looking For

  • Master’s Degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Active BCBA certification (in good standing with the BACB)
  • Licensure to practice ABA in North Carolina
  • Minimum 2 years of experience providing ABA therapy
  • Strong understanding of payer requirements, authorizations, and compliance timelines
  • Proficient in EMR platforms like CentralReach or similar

Why Triangle ABA

  • We're clinician-owned, not investor-run — your work is respected and supported.
  • We prioritize transparency, trust, and quality care.
  • You'll be part of a growing, supportive team making a real difference every day.
