Key Responsibilities
Operate advanced angiographic and ultrasound equipment to perform complex interventional procedures while assisting physicians as a scrub assistant. Monitor patient status during procedures, provide emergency care when necessary, and maintain accurate medical records and billing documentation.
Requirements
Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, a valid Illinois Radiographer license, and ARRT registration. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in an Interventional Radiologic Technologist role and possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
