Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Speech Therapy interventions in accordance with established standards of care, policies, procedures, and state/federal law. Interventions may be related to but not limited to communicative, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Supervise and complete appropriate documentation for Speech Therapy students as assigned by CCCE.
  • Schedule Speech Therapy services according to department.
  • Complete documentation in electronic medical record in a timely manner in accordance within department and professional expectations demonstrating the need for skilled interventions.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree from an accredited Speech Therapy program.
  • Experience: 2 years’ experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • License(s)/Certification(s): Current IA and/or IL Speech Therapy licensure (or eligible).
  • Current CPR certification.
