The general pay scale for this position at MOH is $89,470.81 - $137,647.40. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.
Under supervision or in collaboration with practice physicians, involved in the care of individuals, families and patient groups who are dealing with cancer or other related diagnosis. This care may be in clinic or virtually, via telemedicine.
Responsibilities may include duties related to prevention, screening, patient care, management, and research. May serve as direct caregiver, health care consultant, patient educator, administrator, or researcher. Ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards and requirements.
Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Maryland Oncology Hematology is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join our dedicated Hospital-Based Hematology/Oncology team serving Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, Maryland.
This is an exciting opportunity to practice at the top of your license while working alongside a collaborative team of nationally recognized hematologists and oncologists. Our hospital APPs play an integral role in the inpatient management of complex oncology and hematology patients, helping to ensure seamless continuity of care across the inpatient and outpatient settings.

- Work closely with experienced hematologists, oncologists, hospitalists, pharmacists, nurses, and supportive care specialists.

- Specialized Hematology & Oncology Experience
Manage a Diverse Patient Population Including
- Acute and chronic hematologic disorders

Minimum Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program. This position is entry-level and typically requires a minimum of 0-3 years post MSN experience, preferably in the chosen specialty. RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.
OR
Physician Assistant
Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) certification. This position is entry-level and typically requires 0-3 years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant, preferably in the chosen specialty. Current state license as a Physician Assistant in practicing state. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.

Clinical Nurse Specialist
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Clinical Nurse Specialist program. This position is entry-level and typically requires a minimum of 0-3 years of post-MSN experience, preferably in the chosen specialty.
RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current state licensure as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.
