FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in the Metro Fort Myers area is expanding and looking for a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who enjoys hands-on care, teamwork, and helping patients regain confidence in their mobility.

This is not a high-volume therapy mill. The clinic environment is built around focused treatment sessions, collaboration with Physical Therapists, and delivering measurable patient outcomes.

We proudly serve patients throughout Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Estero, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs, Punta Gorda, and North Fort Myers, providing exceptional care in orthopedics, neuro, balance, and vestibular.

What to Expect in This Role

Daily Schedule & Patient Care

• Approximately 12 patient visits per day
• Time allotted for individualized treatment plans
• Collaborative environment with experienced Physical Therapists

Technology & Workflow Support

• AI-assisted documentation to reduce after-hours charting
• Specialized equipment for vestibular and balance rehabilitation
• Efficient clinic systems that support a smooth workflow

Compensation & Incentives

Base Pay: $26 – $33 per hour (based on experience)

Monthly Profit-Sharing Bonus

Opportunity to earn up to $1,000 per month based on clinic performance and bonus metrics

Estimated Annual Earnings with Consistent Bonus Achievement

$66,080 – $80,640 annually ($31.75 – $38.75 hourly equivalent), based on full-time hours and consistent bonus achievement

Professional Growth & Education

Mentorship Support

• PTAs within 24 months of graduation receive structured mentorship and clinical development support to strengthen skills and confidence

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment programs developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation programs
• Provide manual therapy techniques as directed
• Educate patients on home exercise programs
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented clinic environment

Qualifications

• Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license or eligibility
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills
