Key Responsibilities

The Optometrist provides direct optometric services to customer-owners to support the objectives of the Optometry program. They are responsible for delivering high-quality eye care while adhering to the organization's mission of achieving wellness for the Native Community.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Alaska license to practice optometry with diagnostic and therapeutic pharmaceutical endorsements. Additionally, they must meet medical staff membership requirements and possess or obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
