Key Responsibilities

The physical therapist will assess, plan, and administer rehabilitative programs to improve resident mobility, strength, and pain management. They are also responsible for documenting treatments according to Medicare guidelines and coordinating care with nursing and other therapy staff.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution and possess a current Physical Therapist license in the District of Columbia. Additionally, a valid adult CPR certification and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.
