Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and administers rehabilitative programs to improve resident mobility, strength, and pain management. They also coordinate care with nursing and therapy staff while maintaining accurate documentation according to Medicare guidelines.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited institution and possess a current Virginia Physical Therapist license. Additionally, the role requires CPR certification and the physical ability to lift or move equipment up to 50 lbs.
