Position Summary

This role is for a physician who wants to practice through providing compassionate, patient centered care. Patients are seen in the office and hospital rounding is required.

Maintenance of timely, accurate and detailed medical records using E Clinical Works (ECW), the Medical Center’s office based EMR is required

  • Prescribes medication or therapy when necessary
  • Recommends lifestyle changes as appropriate to improve quality of life
  • Explains all medical procedures thoroughly
  • Explains test results and provide patients with plan of care details
  • Consults with other doctors as appropriate about patient’s specific needs
  • Participates in tumor boards and multi-disciplinary clinics
  • Serves on hospital Medical Staff and related committees when requested
  • Seeks to improve patient satisfaction scores and team member goals
  • Participates in business development and marketing activities to grow the business.

  • Physical Requirements

This job can be physically demanding at times requiring stooping, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. The team member will need to frequently assist lifting patients and heavy equipment. Must be able to work in a stressful environment, work independently, making sound decisions, detail oriented, alert, and self-motivated. Ability to push/pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.
