Job Description
The hospital Physician Clinical Systems Specialist under direct supervision from the Market Clinical Informatics Director and according to established policies and procedures functions as an electronic medical record (EMR) system expert and is primarily responsible for training clinicians to efficiently use the Cerner EMR and to proactively provide at the elbow support to clinicians throughout the hospital. The Physician Clinical Systems Specialist will at times assist in the implementation, support, and optimization of the EMR and other clinical systems.

The Physician Clinical Systems Specialist trains clinicians on the Cerner EMR system and provides at-the-elbow support throughout the hospital. They also assist in the implementation, support, and optimization of clinical systems and electronic medical records.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and are preferred to have three years of experience in a clinical hospital setting. Strong communication, problem-solving, and clinical workflow integration skills are required for this role.
