TeamHealth has a great telemedicine hospitalist opportunity for a part-time/PRN,
board-certified internal medicine or family medicine physician with a minimum of
4 years of hospital medicine experience and a North Carolina medical license to
provide remote nocturnist coverage within the Mission System community hospitals
in Western North Carolina. Hours are 7pm-7am and responsibilities include...
* Performing patient exams virtually with onsite nursing staff
* Entering admission orders
* Prescribing medications
* Documentation of patient diagnosis, treatment plan, etc. using the hospital's
EMR
* Communicating with patients, nursing staff and consulting with ED physicians
on site

Key Responsibilities
The physician will provide remote nocturnist coverage by performing virtual patient exams and entering admission orders. They are also responsible for prescribing medications and documenting treatment plans within the hospital's EMR system.
Requirements
Candidates must be board-certified in internal or family medicine with a minimum of 4 years of hospital medicine experience. A valid North Carolina medical license is required to practice within the Mission System.
