We are hiring for
Licensed Therapist / LCSW / LCMHC / Associate Level Type: Credentialed If you are a positive and personable individual looking for a satisfying and fun opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with intellectual, developmental disabilities, and people facing mental health, and substance use challenges, join our team at RHA Health Services! We are seeking a skilled and compassionate clinician to provide behavioral health services for individuals with complex mental health and co-occurring needs. The ideal candidate will have experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of behavioral health conditions, including mental illness, personality disorders, and challenges related to family and support systems.
This role requires close collaboration with psychiatry, community support programs, families, social service agencies, and legal partners to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care. The therapist will work independently with minimal supervision, contribute positively to the clinical team, and provide support to program leadership or fellow clinicians as needed.
Candidates must hold a current licensure as an LCSW, LCMHC, or associate-level clinician and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care. Additional training, experience, or credentials may be required based on the population served and program needs.
Location: Taylorsville NC
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5 no on call work
Pay: $50,000 - $56,000
Job Responsibilities

As a Licensed Therapist / LCSW / LCMHC / Associate Level Therapist, you will provide comprehensive clinical services, including assessments, individual, family, and group therapy, treatment planning, and discharge coordination. Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, you will help individuals achieve their goals through person-centered, evidence-based care.
The ideal candidate is a compassionate and skilled clinician with strong assessment, communication, and therapeutic intervention skills. Success in this role requires the ability to build effective relationships with service users, families, community partners, and healthcare professionals while coordinating services that support long-term recovery and wellness. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a plus.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work or a related field
Active North Carolina licensure to provide mental/behavioral health services
Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health experience
Experience with assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and group therapy
Knowledge of North Carolina's human services system
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass required screenings
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred
