Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist

Work Hours
- 40 hours a week. Rotating AM/PM. Every third weekend staffing.

Here’s What You Need
- Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Required
- Other Pharm D. Required
- CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.
- PHAR- Pharmacist upon hire required.
- PGY1 residency training and at least 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience are highly preferred
- Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills, computer proficient and possess basic math skills.
Here’s What You Will Do
- Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.
- Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician responsibilities.
- Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.
- Ensuring the accuracy of one's own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department's quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives is also required.
- Ongoing professional development and growth.
- Not only the management of one's own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
- Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.
- Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
The pharmacist will provide clinical pharmacy services, ensure accurate medication distribution, and oversee pharmacy technician responsibilities. They are also expected to participate in quality improvement initiatives and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and a PharmD, along with a valid Pharmacist license. PGY1 residency training and at least 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience are highly preferred.
