Key Responsibilities

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for implementing standards of care for speech language pathology services, which includes conducting evaluations, establishing plans of care, and administering specialized therapy programs. They must also coordinate care with physicians and other personnel, maintain clinical competency, and instruct patients and families on treatment regimes.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology and meet state licensing requirements or equivalent supervised experience and examination criteria. A minimum of one year of clinical experience, good communication skills, current CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with insurance are also mandatory.
