Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Registered Therapist performs routine and complex respiratory care procedures, including mechanical ventilation and patient monitoring, under the direction of an attending physician. They are also responsible for documenting patient data, participating in quality improvement activities, and assisting in the training of new staff.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Florida State Respiratory License and be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3 to 5 years of experience. An associate degree is required, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are mandatory depending on the assigned unit.
