Organizational Context and Scope
Under the direct tsupervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) and the Chief Migration Health Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for the carrying out the following duties and responsibilities in relation to the Migration Health Assessment Centre (MHAC) in Quito, Ecuador.
Key Responsibilities
The Migration Health Physician is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the Migration Health Assessment Centre in Quito. This includes overseeing medical examinations, vaccinations, and TB management to ensure compliance with international technical standards.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a university degree in Medicine and possess at least four years of professional work experience with a valid medical license. Proficiency in English and the local language is required, along with strong clinical knowledge and expertise in public health or relevant medical specializations.
