Required Clinical Skills

• Routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps delivery

• C-section decision-making and execution
• Management of complicated deliveries, including breech, multiples, and abruptions

• VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean)

• Repair of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations

• Gynecological call coverage mandatory

• Onsite labs and ultrasound facilities

• Equipped with hospital labor and delivery resources

• Low volume of C-section patients

• Midwifery coverage for delivery of their patients
• Nursery Level: II

• Annual delivery volume: 700-800
• L&D triage visits: 140-190 per month

Shift Details

• 6-7 shifts monthly with potential for additional shifts; beeper call from 7 AM to 7 AM

Mandatory Job Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (required)

• Active Kentucky medical license or IMLC (required)

• Current BLS certification (required)

• Current DEA registration (required)

• Availability for the specified coverage dates (November 25-29); no exceptions
