The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve physical function and alleviate pain in patients with acute conditions. They are responsible for maintaining accurate medical documentation, coordinating discharge planning, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and possess an active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
