Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor

Key Responsibilities

The counselor is responsible for the clinical monitoring and implementation of behavioral health programs, including facilitating group and individual sessions for patients in the Medication Assisted Treatment program. They also act as a liaison between medical and facility staff while participating in quality assurance and interdisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a CASAC-T, CASAC, or CASAC2 certification and possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related human services field. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
