Pilcher, a founder of The Annals of Surgery. Today, our Advanced and Minimally Invasive Surgery program continues this legacy through cutting-edge, innovative techniques—including robotic surgery.

Position Overview

• Robotic Surgery Physician Assistants support a wide range of surgical specialties, including:
• General Surgery
• Colorectal
• Bariatrics
• Gynecology
• Urology

• In this role, you will function as a key member of the surgical care team, with responsibilities that include:
• Providing intraoperative bedside assistance during robotic procedures
• Rounding with surgical teams to evaluate and manage patients
• Writing progress notes and placing orders
• Performing bedside procedures as needed
• Delivering coordinated, high-quality care across the patient journey

You will serve as a frontline provider, ensuring continuity of care for surgical patients throughout their hospital stay.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in robotic surgery
• Experience with Intuitive Surgical systems (Xi, X, and/or dV5)
• Licensing & Certifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current New York State PA licensure
• NCCPA certification
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NYS Infection Control certification
• DEA registration with NYS Opioid Prescriber Training compliance

Salary Range

$70.30-$93.88/Hourly
