Key Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist assesses patient respiratory needs, plans and performs treatment modalities, and manages mechanical ventilators according to protocol. They also assist with acute airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, and intra-hospital transport of ventilated patients.
Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of a specialty training program and hold current certifications including BLS, NBRC, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program. The role requires the ability to work a rotating shift schedule including weekends and holidays.
