Thoracic Surgery Opportunity

Seeking BC/BE Thoracic Surgeons to join our team!

* Base Salary: $650,000 with productivity incentives

* Sign-On Bonus, Relocation Assistance, CME Allowance, Retirement Benefits &

Malpractice Coverage

* This is an employed opportunity with Baptist Medical Group (a

multidisciplinary medical group with over 1,500 employed physicians)

Some notable facts about our TS program

* Established thoracic surgery practice with strong referral relationships,

advanced robotic capabilities, and close integration with Baptist Cancer

Center

* Primary facility: BMH - Memphis (700 bed tertiary referral center for our

26-hospital system)

* Advanced robotic surgery program with access to: 

* Two da Vinci Xi robotic systems in Memphis

* One da Vinci Xi robotic system in DeSoto 

* Approximately 90% of cases performed robotically 

* No required ED call 

* Flexible practice schedule featuring 3-4 OR days per week, multidisciplinary

clinic participation, and dedicated outpatient clinic time

* Established referral base with continued opportunity for growth across the

Mid-South region

* Dedicated support team including experienced APPs, first assistants, and

specialized surgical staff

* Work closely with the Baptist Cancer Center and participate in

multidisciplinary care alongside medical oncology colleagues

* Baptist has a general surgery residency which offers opportunities to teach

* Great collaborative and collegial physicians and administrative team

* As a not-for-profit system, BMHCC qualifies for Public Service Loan
