Job Description

Description

Care United Medical Center is looking for a Certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in a very fast paced urgent care facility.

PRN shifts needed (1 to 2 shifts per week) with possibility becoming full time. Hours of operation 8am – 7:00pm M - F; Sat 8am - 4pm; Sun 10am - 4pm. Shift hours vary and may require some weekend coverage.

Radiology Department / Laboratory / Occupational Health

Requirements

  • State medical license
  • 2 year experience minimum
  • Board eligibility or certification

Experience in procedures including suturing and splinting, reading diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs * BLS Certification

  • Experience treating worker's compensation cases and providing DOT physicals helpful
  • Comfortable treating all ages
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Work well with other providers/nurse practitioners/physician assistants/staff

Key Responsibilities

Provide medical care in a fast-paced urgent care setting for patients of all ages. Perform clinical procedures and interpret diagnostic studies including x-rays and EKGs.
