Radiologist Assistant

Key Responsibilities

The Radiologist Assistant performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures under the supervision of a staff radiologist, acting as an intermediate caregiver by handling pre-imaging, imaging, and post-imaging tasks on behalf of the radiologists. Key duties include assisting with procedures, administering prescribed medications, acquiring images, making initial observations, and communicating findings to the attending radiologist for final report authentication.

Requirements

Candidates must graduate from an ARRT-recognized RRA educational program and hold current RRA certification and Washington State licensure as a radiologist assistant. A minimum of two years of clinical experience as an RRA is required, along with proficiency in all general fluoroscopy and required invasive procedures.
