Job Description
This Physician Assistant at Valley Ortho position will be dedicated support for
upper extremity orthopedics (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand)! This is a team-based
role working closely with orthopedic surgeons. Some clinical responsibilities
include managing established patient visits for upper extremity conditions,
providing pre-operative education and post-operative follow-up care, performing
in-office procedures within scope, assisting in the operating room for upper
extremity cases as scheduled, triaging and responding to clinical questions and
patient messages, and coordinating care with therapy, imaging, and ancillary
services.

Schedule: This is a day shift position!
Will be working in the Hospital in Glenwood Springs, Office in Willits, Silt
office and off-site clinic in Eagle.
Workflow & Operations
* Support clinic flow by transitioning appropriate visits from surgeons to APP
care
* Deliver efficient, high‑quality documentation in Epic
* Participate in care standardization and best‑practice workflows
* Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure a strong patient experience
Requirements
* Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
* Current Colorado Physician Assistant (PA) license.
* Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification issued by the National Commission
for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
* Unrestricted DEA license
* Current BLS and ACLS Certifications through the American Heart Association
* First Assist Experience is preferred
Salary Range
* $109,366.40 to $164,049.60/salaried
* Starting wage dependent upon experience, education, and skill set
