Key Responsibilities

The Social Worker will coordinate patient discharge planning, community agency referrals, and clinical assessments while collaborating with medical staff and families. They are also responsible for managing crisis situations, including suicidal/homicidal assessments and implementing safety protocols.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field and possess 3-5 years of experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit. A valid L.S.W., MSW, or Professional Counselor license from Ohio or a BSW from Michigan is required.
