- UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a Hospitalist Physician to join our team in Sioux City, IA.

Sioux City
UnityPoint Health - Sioux City provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Sioux City and the surrounding Siouxland area. St. Luke’s offers a full range of services and programs that includes a state-of-the-art surgical center, Siouxland’s premier birth center, 24/7 cardiovascular care, and Level III emergency department. In addition, UnityPoint Health - Sioux City is also home to St. Luke’s College which provides high-quality, health system-based education to individuals looking for careers in health care.

Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
- Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
- Specialists include: Ortho, Neuro, Cardiology, ID, Surgery, Nephrology, Pulmonology/Critical Care
Responsibilities
- Excellent work/life balance with flexible scheduling
- TeleHospitalist service utilized for overnight coverage
- No night shifts, no call, no procedures
- Average census of 16 patients per Physician
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
- J-1 waiver sponsorship available
