What You’ll Do

This is an outstanding full-time opportunity to deliver exceptional care to a diverse patient base while managing a broad spectrum of visual and medical conditions. As part of the Eagle Vision Eye Care team, you’ll work in a cutting-edge, energetic practice located directly in Sacramento.

In this role, you’ll provide thorough eye care services to patients of all ages, promote good ocular health and education, and recommend vision-enhancing eyewear and contact lenses. A typical day involves seeing approximately 18 patients, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on each one.

You’ll benefit from access to the latest diagnostic technology, ensuring the highest standard of care. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 a. m. to 5 p. m.

Job Specifications

Typically Has the Following Skills or Abilities

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

For roles that are remote (i. e., Work From Home (WFH)) or hybrid (i. e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFH), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
