Job Description
The Department of Neonatology at Stamford Hospital is seeking an additional per diem neonatologist to join the team, as needed by the department. The department has two (2) full-time, three (3) part-time, and two (2) per diem neonatologists. The per-diem shifts offered are 12-hour or 24-hour in-house, and at present we need coverage approximately 1 to 2 times per month.

Compensation Information
1. Salary: $179/hour; this is an hourly position meaning you punch out for each shift and get paid for every hour that you work.
2. In addition to the hourly rate of $179, you would be eligible for our shift
Differentials, Which Are
- 4. Evening differential (if you work any hours between 3pm-11p), you will receive an additional 12% more per hour. **In order to receive the evening differential from 3pm on, you need to work until at least 7pm (4 hours into the evening shift).
- 6. Night differential (If you work any hours between 11p-7a), you will receive an additional 20% more per hour.
1. Weekend shifts – pay an additional $2/hour more for all hours during a weekend (on top of the evening and night differentials above)

The neonatologist will provide in-house clinical coverage for the Level III NICU at Stamford Hospital. Responsibilities include managing patient care during 12-hour or 24-hour shifts as needed by the department.
Requirements
The candidate must be a qualified neonatologist capable of providing in-house medical coverage. The role requires availability for per diem shifts approximately 1 to 2 times per month.
