Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) with pediatric experience to join a reputable school district in Mukilteo, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your occupational therapy expertise while supporting students with diverse physical and developmental needs.
In this role, you will provide therapy and rehabilitation services that empower students to participate more fully in school-based tasks when their abilities are impacted by health conditions.
You’ll work closely with the IEP team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans using therapeutic interventions that promote functional independence in the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to determine student functional needs and set developmentally appropriate goals
- Reassess progress regularly and adjust therapy plans to optimize outcomes
- Document evaluations, goals, and treatment plans in accordance with school standards
- Select and utilize materials and equipment safely and efficiently to support therapy goals
- Perform all responsibilities with professionalism, care, and a student-centered mindset
Requirements
- Active state license as an Occupational Therapist
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- At least 6 months of relevant OT experience within the past 5 years
