Occupational Therapist- Acute Care- Flex/PRN

Key Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist confirms and interprets physician referrals, performs patient assessments, and implements individualized treatment programs based on the patient's age and medical diagnoses in acute care settings. Responsibilities also include coordinating patient care through communication with the healthcare team and documenting all activities in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program and be licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the Commonwealth of Virginia. AHA BLS certification is required within six months of employment, and effective interpersonal, communication, customer service, and teamwork skills are mandatory.
