Overview

Certified Nurse Midwife – Nashville, TN | WOMEN Obstetrics & Gynecology

WOMEN Obstetrics & Gynecology is growing and seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our dedicated team and support continued growth and excellence in patient care.

Provide full-scope midwifery care including gynecologic, contraceptive, prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and primary healthcare services.

Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation.

  • Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.
  • Manage deliveries, admissions, and inpatient rounding within scope of practice.
  • Maintain documentation and care plans consistent with best practices and regulatory standards.

Flexible Schedule

3.5 clinic days per week with options for a post-call day off days and shared weekend call (72 hours)

Shared Call Model: 1:4 rotation ensuring equitable call and holiday coverage. Call can be taken from home unless clinically necessary, with dedicated nurses handling patient calls.

Hospital Affiliations: Access to Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital and TriStar Centennial Women’s & Children’s Hospital, both featuring Level III NICUs and conveniently located two blocks apart for efficient inpatient care.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) with current Tennessee RN and APRN licensure.
  • AMCB certification and active DEA/Controlled Substance License.
  • Prior experience in obstetrics or women’s health preferred; new graduates welcome with mentorship support.
