Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for adults who exhibit cognitive-communication disorders and for neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults who exhibit feeding/ swallowing disorders.
  • Maintain Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Requirements

  • Masters Degree-Speech Language Pathology.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Must be obtained within 9 months for full[1]time employees and 18 months for part-time employees.
  • Current and valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Kentucky.
