The CRNA administers anesthesia to patients during surgical and clinical procedures under physician supervision. They are responsible for documenting patient procedures, ensuring patient safety, and acting as a liaison between the surgical team and the patient's family.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree from an AANA-accredited nurse anesthesia school and possess a valid APRN license. Additionally, certification through the AANA and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification are required.
