This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.

Join UCSF as a Physician Assistant – Neurology Movement Disorder in United States.

Key Responsibilities

will be an integral part of Movement Disorder and Neuromodulation division outpatient clinic visits.

will primarily act as an independent billing provider with RN and administrative support, conduct New patient intake office visits, follow-up visits, hospital discharges, and if desired, ad hoc procedures (PREEMPT Botox, Nerve Blocks, Lumbar Punctures).

will perform New Patient Intake office visits utilizing diagnosis-based templates.

will then decide to transfer care to other sub-specialty attending, keep in their patient panel, or complete the consult and re-direct patient back to their primary care provider.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an ARC-PA accredited program and hold an active California Physician Assistant license. At least two years of experience in an ambulatory or clinic neurology setting is required, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
