• Shift: Day To provide Physical Therapy services to patients in an Inpatient Rehab setting Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans to promote the optimal outcomes for patients with a wide range of injuries and ages

Communicates regularly with the Physical Therapist to support the interdisciplinary plan of care, including therapy goals, patient progress, and discharge recommendations.

Coordinates patient care with an interdisciplinary team that includes but is not limited to: physicians, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, etc. Demonstrates the ability to work in a dynamic environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications

Education

Appropriate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program Licensure: Current, valid Physical Therapy Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Mississippi Certification: American Red Cross BLS Experience: New graduates welcome to apply; clinical experience in acute care, inpatient rehab, or outpatient settings preferred.
